The room was good until we started to smell weeds and my kids felt a headache. However, the staff at the reception was great in giving us an alternative room at a discounted rate. I wanted to give a special appreciation to her.

I most liked the mountains. We always eat at CommuniTea.
I most liked the mountains. We always eat at CommuniTea. All tourist towns should have free parking. Since Canmore took away most of the free parking and turned it into paid we do not visit anywhere near the amount we use to. Canmore was our 'go to' instead of Banff. (Horrible parking there) We also live in a tourist town and our parking is free. the tourists are way less aggressive with their driving. Also having to use a electronic device on a machine to park is nasty. Very invasive

Beautiful area with lots of options for outdoor adventurers and foodies alike. Cute little downtown with lots of shops and places to eat. Nice little bubble tea spot, and enjoyed eating at a place called Iron Goat. I like that it is quieter and less touristy than Banff (just a 15-ish minute drive away). My friend loved hiking Ha Ling a year earlier, and we loved East End of Rundle this year.
Grassi Lakes is an easy and beautiful hike too.
Climbing spots like Grotto Canyon are cool, there's even a climb around some pictographs which is really neat.
A friend got married in late April at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, it was a beautiful set up with mountains in the background for the ceremony, and a cute rustic cabin-y feel for the reception inside.
Would recommend Canmore to anyone. :)

Canmore has everything one needs for enjoyment and necessities. It is close to both Banff and Kananaskis Country for skiing, shopping, biking, hiking, lots of dining options, historical sites…and more. There is something for everyone! If you like being independent, opportunities for self-guided activities abound. If you want guided tours, there is everything from dog sledding to heli-tours, rafting to mountain biking…hiking to yoga. It’s the best value for the money spent! And the scenery is unbeatable.

So much to do and see with Canmore being your base. It’s an easy quick trip to Banff without the hoards of tourists that are in Banff. Canmore has a cosy downtown with lots of activities in the surrounding area. It’s a great area to stay in!
Visited Grizzly Paw Brewing Company, Murriettas and Bridgette. All had great service!
Stayed in private owner suite at Solara. Young child friendly pool and huge hot tub area. Has a small restaurant and a liquor store.
Twilight Soak at Nordic Spa in Kananaskis area was fun and relaxing!

Canmore is a great little town right in the heart of the rockies. It is very close to Banff, without the cost of staying right in Banff. It is close to many outdoor activities for both summer and winter. Both Lake Louise and Sunshine Village ski resorts are within an hour. There are lots of hiking opportunities with some even starting in town. We have enjoyed many of the local restaurants, and there is a lot of variety to please any palate. While it can sometimes get busy, it is easy to get around and easily walkable for most people.
The rooms were fine. Our booking was complicated as we had to book an extra night and we couldn't do it through Booking.com without cancelling our original booking and the staff dealt with it with no difficulty. We used the pool, slide and hot tub every day and ate breakfast in the hotel once. All were fine. I would have no hesitation to stay there again. Canmore is a good location for exploring the rockies and bear spray was available to borrow from the hotel reception if you were going hiking or cycling.
It was just a perfect stay. The house is beautiful, very cozy and homey. It has everything you need. But the most important part of our stay was the hosts Annie and Bryan - they are the kindest people we’ve met in Canada. Every morning we started with an amazingly delicious breakfast and the chat with the owners. They borrowed us the spikes (and even warm socks) as it was snowy and icy during our stay. They gave us many advices on the things to do. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
Great location a short walk to town centre. Beautiful condo style 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture, luxury bathroom shower and jacuzzi tub! Large, fully accessorized kitchen. Located in a luxury resort with pool, hot tub, and restaurant/ lounge! Owners very friendly, helpful and accommodating… good communication with quick answers to questions! Appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine to make a wonderful weekend escape for my love and I 🥰
The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They fixed anything that broke right away. The cabin, although old, was clean, comfortable and had plenty of cooking utensils. The location is great, 5 mins from Canmore and 20 from Banff. It makes you feel like you're camping with the luxury of a bed. It's also the cheapest place in the region. I would recommend it if you're after a more basic experience for a good price.
We were not expecting much from a chain hotel, but were very impressed by the whole place. We have booked future stays at Coast hotels on the strength of this visit.
The staff were helpful, the room large, and the gym well equipped with nearly new equipment including Pelton bikes. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Canmore is a lovely little town, without the crowds and chaos of Banff
The apartment was large, clean, modern and well equipped. It had 3 flat screen TV’s, a full kitchen and a washing machine and dryer which was great for us to catch up with washing after 2 weeks traveling around western Canada.
Canmore is a nice town, close to Banff but considerably less expensive. I recommend staying here. It also has an excellent supermarket, ‘Save on Foods’
Very nice hotel to stay. 20mins to Banff Town. Staffs are very friendly, room is clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants close by. Breakfast is included which is nice. We understand the price goes up in summer, We have to pay over 1000 Canadian dollars for two nights, but overall, we satisfied our stay at Pocaterra Inn & Waterslide.
Bus stop outside of hotel with direct bus to Banff. Town centre had lots of shops and restaurants. Canmore is a beautiful town and had its own stunning hikes that are well worth doing. Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle and crowds in Banff. Great views of railway and mountains. Room stocked with tea and coffee
I liked the location and the ease of checking in. It has all the amenities you need. Big comfy bed. We were close to many places in Canmore, the parking was easy and the hotel desk person was very nice. No stress stay, and they have a sauna, we did not use as we came from a SPA but it's a good perk to have.
Check in was super easy even though we arrived fairly late. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed including dishes and cutlery. Love the fact that it's an actual cabin, not just a "cabin themed" hotel room. Pleasant location surrounded by trees and only a couple minutes drive to Canmore.
Very simple but convenient setup; great location (except the trains at night, but hard to avoid that in Canmore!) it was a breeze to check in and having a pet friendly room was great. LOVED the coffee press instead of a drop machine!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The location and place is really good. It was our first night in Canmore, we were exhausted and slightly jetlagged and we definitely had a good long night of sleep. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was fairly quiet, nothing to complain about.
The hotel is located closer to doantown Canmore. It is also close to many attactions, such as Canmore museum , and Geoscience center, etc. In general, it has a spacious and comfortable room, the friendly staff, and the convenient location.
It's the newer and clean room including the washroom near the banff area. I specially like it has the shower head with the handheld; now these days it's realy hard to find the hotel offer the handheld even for the 5-start ones.
We didn’t know we’d love Canmore more than Banff! 😬 Every summer we go to Banff but this year we decided to stay in Canmore! Everything is great! Highly recommended destination with this kind of hotel! It’s perfect!
Great hotel in a good location for exploring
Breakfast was included and was great for the price. They even had almond milk. First hotel in Canada to have an alternative milk, so pleasantly surprised
The room was so tastefully decorated! The bed was super comfortable and the happy hour was excellent! Fun servers provided good chitchat. The hotels decor was very tasteful – mountain Lodge style
We used the swimming pool at the adjoining hotel lots-
Nice to have that. The room was well appointed- we could have eaten every meal if we chose to in the condo- had everything we needed.
